I had a bit of fun creating a sketchbook page of what I am currently listening to. I am totally hooked on Saturn Return, the newest record by The Secret Sisters. Definitely check their music out if you love great harmonies and excellent songwriting.

Got some great tips from Dylan Sara on Sktchy about working from shadow@shape to shadow shape when drawing/painting portraits. I can’t wait to try carving my own drawing pens soon and making some of my own ink- also inspired by Dylan’s session yesterday. He’s one of the instructors for 30 Faces/30 Days- still happening live for a few more days and then available forever if you want to work at your own pace. I just ordered some elder wood sticks for carving. Will keep you posted on making pens.
